Lawrence Yung-Yi Ma Graduated from McMaster University B.A., Executive Director of Lee Heng Group, Chairman of Diamond Importers Association and TDC Jewellery Show Board, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Diamond Exhange.
Early in 1949, MBLife's mother company – Lee Heng Diamond Company, was already one of the biggest diamond trading companies run by Chinese in Hong Kong, participating diamond and precious stone import and wholesale business, and selling quality diamonds to numbers of international jewellers. Riding on the group’s existing edges, the Chairman, Mr. Maximillian Ma established MaBelle diamond jewelry retail chain in 1993. With its one-stop-shop service in designing and fabricating jewelry, the company had quickly become one of the market leaders in Hong Kong.
- In 1949, the mother company of MBLife – Lee Heng Diamond Co., Ltd. was established (changed to Lee Heng Diamond Co., Ltd in 1978), specializing in semi-precious stone trading and wholesaling, looking for high quality semi-precious stone and diamond all around the world and resell to different countries. - In 1966, Lee Heng focused on diamond trading and wholesale business. - In 1985, Lee Heng established Mabros Jewellery Mfg. Ltd, as the first exclusive diamond jewelry shop in the finest shopping district of Central. - In 1992, Lee Heng established Ablemaster Jewellery Mfg Co. Ltd in Hung Hom, specializing in manufacture and wholesale business of high quality custom jewelry. - In 1993, MaBelle Jewellery Co. Ltd was established, introducing carefree shopping pattern to customers, as well as popularizing diamond jewelry. This is an important milestone to the development of the Group, as well as Hong Kong diamond jewelry market. - In 1997, Lee Heng Group bought in Falconer Jewellers, the famous jewelry retailer in The Peninsula Hotel, to cope with the Group's development. - In 1998, the brand MADIA was founded, focuses in prestigious diamond jewelry. - In 2001, the first MaBelle shop was established in Shanghai.
Lee Heng Diamond Limited is a one-stop jeweler with capacity in diamond jewelry manufacturing as well as sales and marketing. From manufacturing, wholesale to retail, the group has shown the synergy in vertical integration.
